General tab

This tab consists of two sections, Current session and Last session that give you information about the operations performed by WinContig.

Current session

This section shows information about an operation while it is being executed. All of the values displayed in this section are updated in real-time during operation execution.

Element Description
Start time Displays date and time when the operation started.
Action Displays the operation being executed and, once performed, the execution state.
Current operation Displays the operation currently performed by WinContig. If the performed operation is a defragmentation operation, WinContig will show the path and name of the processed file, and a progress bar to provide feedback about the duration and progression of the defragmentation.
Fragmented files Displays the number of fragmented files.

You can see the list of the fragmented files by clicking on the Fragmented files tab.
Contiguous files Displays the number of contiguous (not fragmented) files.
Defragmented files Displays the number of defragmented files.
Not processed files Displays the number of files that were not processed due to an error.

You can see the list of the files not processed by clicking on the Errors tab.

Last session

This section shows information about the last time you used WinContig. The information in this section are updated only when you execute an analysis process or a defragmentation process.

Element Description
Start time Displays date and time when the operation started.
Action Displays the operation executed and the execution state of the operation.
Total processed files Displays the total number of the processed files.
Defragmented files Displays the total number of the defragmented files.
